Draw slab of ideal thickness, draw pool design with spline tool. With your original slab selected and slab tool selected, hold spacebar and click inside the pool shape. It will subtract, you've created the hole. In slab properties, change bottom and side materials to tile, top material to water. Back to drawing, while slab tool is selected(with your edited pool materials) hold spacebar and click in the previously created hole. Deselect everything, select spine. Click on any point in the spline, change to offset tool, type the dimension for the walkway around the pool. Edit slab properties for your walkway, select outer spline, spacebar click. Deselect, select inner spline, spacebar, click. You subtract the "pool" shape, walkway created You're welcome
