@talk2samafrica: 🇩🇪 1,000+ People Are Heading to Germany for This UN Event The first-ever UN Youth Townhall is taking place from 8–10 December 2026 in Heidelberg, Germany, bringing together 1,000+ participants from around the world. A limited number of funding opportunities are available for young people through an open call. ✅ WHO CAN APPLY? You should: • Be 18–35 years old • Be actively engaged in a youth-led initiative, project, group, movement or organization • Be able to participate in English • Be available to participate in the full Townhall programme from 8–10 December 2026 • Meet the requirements outlined in the official application guidance 🌍 The Townhall seeks broad geographic representation, gender balance and the inclusion of young people and communities that are often underrepresented in international spaces. ✈️ WHAT DOES THE FUNDING COVER? For selected funded participants, support includes: ✈️ Round-trip travel to Germany 💶 Reimbursement of eligible visa fees 📩 An official invitation letter to support visa-related processes 🏨 Other participation-related support, depending on the funding arrangement. 📅 DEADLINE: 7 September 2026, 11:59 PM ET ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Funding is limited.
