Every society regardless of culture of technology needs doctors, and doctors will always be intelligent, and *should* always have core values like harm reduction, compassion, logic and integrity. It’s also in their interest for society to be run properly and to avoid war at all costs for obvious reasons. Maybe the world would be a better place if only doctors voted. As long as anyone can become a doctor if they want to without economic barriers, race, gender and so on.

the uncaring part is a contributing factor to everything else you mention about mob ruling. they truly do not care about selecting the best option. they are so full of themselves that it inconveniences them a lot to read (or listen) and think. their TV shows or going out is more important than not screwing their future
