If you travelled to Egypt before this phone system was introduced and used your phone there, that phone will still work. It’s only new phones that you take to Egypt after January 2025 that will be affected and could eventually be blocked. Mine still works because I’m using the same phone that I took with me to Egypt in 2024.

bro they removed it it was but they removed just buy another android and open hotspot there was smth like that but I got removed and they made u can pay it installment payments

Yo, that is not true. No phones are tax-free at all whether you’re Egyptian or a foreigner you gotta pay tax on it. My son got given a seven year-old iPhone 11 by my mum when we were in UK for Christmas and it was used seven years old for my seven-year-old son and I had to pay £3500 tax on it rubbish
