Seeing it on that certificate for me somehow feels like the hardest gut punch. I can’t look at it. There’s a tiny spot on the bedroom wall where my husband was and I can look at it but those words on that certificate take me out

I'm in the same spot as you. My husband was December 29th, same manner of death. I got the weapon back and never cleaned it. Reading the autopsy report was gut wretching even though I witnessed it. I'm sorry for your loss, too.

my daughter passed away on the 6th and when she was on life support she didnt have her glasses. she didnt look right. i went home grabbed her glasses and brought them to her. she looked so much more like herself. I miss her so much.

I didn’t lose a husband, but I lost someone who was very important to me back in 2007 to self inflicted injury that caused death. I still struggle with the feelings of how I could have done something. If only I’d been there to stop him. We have to remember that it’s not our fault. Their choice was made and they were gonna do it regardless. I’m so sorry about your husband:(
