i think that consciousness is js a misstep or consequence of evolution tbh animals brains kept evolving and we learned to interpret our own actions based on more than instinct but everything is all still the same matter in the end so js bc we have consciousness it doesn't rlly make us any different in my view from anything around us

maybe all matter is conscious like you(same thing) but you have no way of knowing because it doesnt have senses. like the consciousness is everywhere, in past and present,(only seperated by time) so it might be the same in other people all having one shared consciousness but they would never know, because their brains cant communicate with eachother. we are mere experience

I THINK We gained consciousness because we had to work as a team and make plans to take down animals larger then us. Basically meaning we had to use our brain more to survive and over time the smarter people survived making our thinking the way it is. idk tho
