When I had it really bad and could hardly breath paramedics told me too take Calpol and drink hot drinks it works believe me x

Oh bless you, my son really suffered, he’s had his tonsils out a few years ago. He still gets sore throats but no where near as bad. X keeping everything crossed for you x

If it’s taking an age to get your referral Dan, consider going private if you can! Hoping you get sorted asap, it’s horrible having tonsillitis, and them waiting lists are loooong 😭😭

Oh Dan fantastic news. My daughters had hers removed because she found a lump in her neck. Luckily it was all clear and she said it was the worse surgery she’d had. But think your not glass swallowing after. Yes you’ll get a sore throat but nothing like it had been. My advice get lots of ice cream/lollies in and cold drinks and milkshakes. Soup for dinner but after I’d say 7 days you’ll be ok.

I use to suffer with tonsillitis all the time and my tonsils are large. but they wont take them out. but fingers crossed for u getting them out and get well soon ❤️
