Suffering is a word that can be difficult to define because it does not have only one form. Suffering can be visible or invisible. It can be physical or emotional. It can last for years, or it can appear suddenly. Sometimes other people can recognize it immediately. Sometimes it hides behind a smile, a username, a photograph, a normal conversation, or a completely ordinary day. Suffering is not simply sadness. Sadness can be temporary. Suffering can become something much deeper — something that changes the way a person sees themselves, other people, and the world around them. When I think about the stories connected to names such as Dzhuko Furuta, matbit2006, Yuka Takaoka, Lacey Fletcher, Renata Cambolina, Vika and Vova, and Nicole Fernanda, the word suffering comes to mind not because their stories are identical, but because each of them has become connected with circumstances involving profound human pain, tragedy, or harm. Their stories are different. Their lives were different. Their circumstances were different. And it would be wrong to pretend that one word can completely explain any of them. But suffering is something that can exist in many different forms. Sometimes suffering comes from what another person does to you. Sometimes it comes from being neglected. Sometimes it comes from isolation. Sometimes it comes from complicated relationships, overwhelming emotions, or destructive decisions. Sometimes it is impossible for outsiders to know exactly what a person felt. And sometimes the only thing we can know for certain is that something deeply tragic happened. That uncertainty is important. When people discover tragic stories online, they often want an explanation. They want to know why. Why did this happen? Why didn’t anyone stop it? What was the person thinking? What happened before everything went wrong? The human mind naturally searches for causes. But suffering does not always have one simple cause. Human beings are complicated. A person’s life is made from hundreds of experiences, relationships, memories, fears, hopes, mistakes, and circumstances. From the outside, we may see only one photograph or one event. We do not see everything that came before it. This is especially important when discussing people whose stories became famous on the internet. The internet has a strange relationship with suffering. It can make someone’s pain incredibly visible while simultaneously making the person themselves invisible. A photograph can be shared thousands of times. A username can become recognizable. A video can receive millions of views. A tragic event can become a subject of endless discussion. And yet the actual person behind the screen can slowly disappear beneath the story. They become a name. A case. A photograph. A rumor. A search result. A disturbing story that somebody tells another person. But before all of that, they were human beings. That is why suffering should never be treated as an aesthetic. There is a difference between acknowledging darkness and romanticizing it. There is a difference between being interested in a tragic story and turning someone’s pain into entertainment. There is a difference between trying to understand someone and glorifying what happened to them. Suffering is not beautiful simply because it is sad. Pain is not automatically meaningful. A tragic ending does not make a person’s life more poetic. And death does not transform suffering into love. These distinctions matter particularly when discussing people who died by suicide. Suicide should not be portrayed as a romantic gesture, a symbol of eternal love, or proof that someone’s feelings were somehow stronger or more genuine than everyone else’s. It is a tragic outcome associated with overwhelming distress and complex circumstances. When Vika and Vova are discussed, for example, people may try to construct explanations about their relationship or motivations. But strangers cannot know every private thought that existed in another person’s mind. #pyf #fyp #vikaandvova #щп #щитпост
