One of the lessons I’ve learned from this whole horrible experience is not to trust anyone who says miscarriages are just bad luck. Because let me tell you the only thing worse than the first miscarrige is the second one. And YES it CAN be bad luck, and YES it CAN be bad luck 2,3,4,5+ times in a row …but aside from the grief, the emotions I am struggling with now are guilt and blame, on myself, for not asking more questions or doing anything after the first one. Because maybe it would not have changed the outcome, but at least I would have felt like I did everything I could. I’m channelling these emotions into a mission to not make the same mistake again and to share every step of the journey with the girls 💕and maybe just maybe I can catch the attention of some girls who have had one loss and save them from the pain of a second? Or, if another loss is inevitable maybe to make it easier to process knowing that you did everything in your power to prevent it from happening and it truly was bad luck. I can’t say that with confidence about either of my losses and it’s killing me. I’m starting to research and book appointments for a variety of different things and I’ll share everything I learn right here. #pregnancyafterloss #miscarriage #miscarriageawareness #ttc #fertilitytreatment
