@mydeesabledlife: Today has honestly made me feel AMAZING. ❤️ We went to Filey today, and I did something I never thought I’d be doing again. I got on a pedal boat — something I haven’t done since before I lost my leg. And then, to top it off, I actually got onto the beach too! 🥹❤️ For some people, it might seem like just a pedal boat and a trip to the beach… but for me, it means SO much more. Cancer took my leg, but it didn’t take away my determination to live my life. Today reminded me that sometimes the only thing standing between you and what you want to do is believing that you CAN do it. I truly believe you can achieve so much when you stop telling yourself you can’t. There might be challenges, there might be times when you need a little help, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up. ❤️ And I’m incredibly lucky to have my husband by my side. He is my rock. 🥰 He helps me when I need it, encourages me when I doubt myself and, most importantly, never makes me feel like I can’t do something. Today wasn’t just a day at Filey. It was another little piece of my life that I thought cancer had taken away — and I got it back. ❤️ Never stop believing in yourself.
