@blametheairline: If the delay is caused by something outside the airline’s control — like thunderstorms, hurricanes, snow, fog, or other severe weather — the airline may NOT be responsible for paying for your hotel, meals, or other expenses. I know… your bed at home is looking REAL good right now. 😂 But there’s a difference between an airline-caused delay and a weather-caused delay. Before you start demanding a hotel voucher, ask yourself: Was the weather the reason for the delay? Or did the airline cause the delay? Because those two situations can mean VERY different things for your wallet. Before You Blame the Airline™ — learn what’s actually the airline’s fault. #BeforeYouBlameTheAirline #AirlineTips #TravelTips #FlightDelay #WeatherDelay
And those weather delays could be due to where the plane is coming from and where those flights are going.

Okay. The policy, according to The Holy Contract of Carriage (peace be upon it), is that if it's weather, it's outside of the airline's control, and thus the airline owes the passengers all of jack and squat. And we are supposed to just trust the airline's agents when they say it. They never lie about these things at all. They never chalk up a delay or cancellation that is within their control (eg: maintenance, crew shortage) to "weather" as a means to intentionally deprive the passenger of assistance, either out of incompetence or spite? It's not like it hasn't happened before; Southwest Airlines initially blamed the delays and cancellations from that computer meltdown in December of 2022 on "weather". So "blame the airline"? Well, maybe understand that We the Passengers don't TRUST the airline.

Here’s what I tell people that law give me that it’s not raining here. I want you to look up the flight history for this aircraft. Tell me where it’s at right now now look up the weather now you understand.

I believe in with the delay, but I also know, sometimes the airlines lie, especially when they wanna count to a flight because someone in a time out they’ll blame whether not always but sometimes
