Yesus. Jesus. Yeshua. Yoshua. Christ. Messiah. King. Lord. Savior. The Word. God. Yahweh. Take your pick. All are God. There is 1 TRUE God.

His name is Yahusha. Yahoshua is Joshua in Hebrew. Also the New Testament was written in Hebrew first then later translated to Greek.

Im an American and I speak English so I call him Jesus. Most people who believe he can only be called “Yeshua” (or whatever) have a “holier than thou” complex behind it.

The ones who insist on saying “yahuah” while typing their entire paragraph in English almost always have bad theology.

The thing is, is people think that Jesus is bound by language. 😂😂 That right there is the biggest issue!

As someone who is bilingual (English and Spanish), I never considered it a big deal that names are transliterated. It is astounding that people think that God is limited by language. I'm pretty sure He knows we are talking to Him and worshipping Him. My son will be named Giovanni, my husband thinks John is too common in the US, but since I wanted a biblical name and I am half- Italian, we went with Giovanni. Still the same name and meaning just a different transliteration. (Speaking of my son, he will be born any day now and I would appreciate prayers for a healthy baby and delivery. He is my first born and truly a surprise miracle from God after infertility.)

Yeh-SHU-ah. SHU is like shoe. Yeh-shoe-ah. Not Yehoshua, by the context you have.

Did Jesus at any point, discuss what his name would sound like?Or did he say many will come in his name?I'm just trying to ponder what was more important, what is the clearer statement.

What kind of God will we have if he didn't understand our different languages that he himself left us. He is God, our Saviour, our Lord and our guide. He controls everything He knows our heart and deepest thoughts 🧐💭

It doesn't matter, God deals what's in you're heart. He knows your talking about Him no matter what language you call him.

Let’s not forget God created all languages. Genesis 11:1-9. He created all of his names. He knows what they are because he made them! Haha!
