Guys, as you know, my skin and I have been in a very committed, very toxic relationship pretty much my whole life. Perioral dermatitis, acne, pigmentation, etc. – she’s a bit of a drama queen. But plot twist: I just spent a week at @shawellness … and my skin started clearing up! Which can only mean one thing: I’m the problem. Or more specifically – eating out, too many animal products, and those mysterious “E” ingredients are the problem. So here we are… I’ve reached the part of my life where I start cooking at home. Yes, this is as shocking to me as it is to you. Believe me. For context: I’m not a kitchen person. I don’t cook, I don’t bake – I assemble at best. But apparently, it’s time for some personal growth. Plan: eat super clean, avoid dairy, gluten, and eggs (pray for me), and somehow still make it taste good… because unfortunately I’m also a foodie and refuse to suffer. Will this turn me into a house wifey? …duhhh Would you guys wanna be part of my journey of becoming (slightly more) domestic? 😁 Chickpea Cookies * 1 can chickpeas (drained, rinsed) * 3/4 cup peanut butter * 1/3 cup maple syrup * 1/4 cup oat flour * 2 tsp vanilla extract * 1 tsp baking powder * 1/4 tsp sea salt * 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips Instructions 1. Blend everything (except chocolate chips) until smooth 2. Stir in chocolate chips 3. Roll into balls, place on baking sheet & flatten 4. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 12–14 min 5. Cool & enjoy You’ll get 7 cookies Per serving 114 kal/protein:6g/carbs:13g/fats:9,4g
