For the first time, our organization went to help families in Barangay Saplad-David, Macabebe, Pampanga. Our team agreed to push through, rain or shine, but we honestly didn’t expect the water to be at this level. At first, we thought the flooding was simply the result of the rain that had been falling for almost a week. But we were informed that this community has been living in these conditions for four years already, hoping that one day, the water would finally go down. Our relief goods may not be enough to solve all of their problems, but we know that even a small amount of help can make a difference—especially when it comes with the effort of volunteers who are willing to walk through the water and stay under nonstop rain just to reach them. To all our volunteers, thank you so much for putting yourselves in this situation and making sure that these families have something to eat and, hopefully, do not have to leave their homes for the next few days just to look for food. To everyone who believes in our desire to help communities in need, thank you for your continued trust and support. Our relief goods distribution has officially begun, and we are currently accepting in-kind donations for communities affected by the ongoing rains and flooding. Rice, noodles, canned goods, coffee, drinking water, snacks, and other essential items can make a difference. On behalf of the families we serve, thank you in advance to everyone who chooses to help…#fyp #OneRaceForFilipinoServicesInc #viral
