Vegas is discarding everything that made the city successful. Free shows great buffets that were reasonably priced and themed hotels along with family activities. There’s almost nothing left there that I want to see you do.

I hope they tear it down, and rebuild a new pyramid hotel with an Egyptian theme- unfortunately they will probably just build another mega resort with no particular theme. really sucks the themed hotels are going away one by one

I fell in love with Vegas back in the early 2000s during the theme push. It was the theming that sealed the deal for me. Going away from that...I really don't think I'll care much for it and it's prices that are rising like 2026 wildfires.

I think that if someone built a new themed hotel and went hard with the theming and just charged normal prices for everything it would be the most successful hotel on the strip.

That and Excalibur will be leveled in my opinion possibly part of it for parking for the Las Vegas A’s. Half of excal is closed no more concierge no more nothing that’s the first to go.

I get wanting to transform and upgrade but at the expense of the properties and attractions that really brought the Strip alive in the 90s is annoying. Many already gone. There’s a way to balance but the rich investors and owners would rather just tear down and build things w/out character. The Hard Rock is the exception / tribal and it will be expensive... but cool at least!

The Luxor used to have a river inside, and it was so much better back then. I also loved the walkways between the Luxor and Excalibur.
