I do not understand the fear/hatred of colonoscopies. If you think bowel prep is terrible then I hate to inform you nothing truly bad (medically) has ever happened to you yet. It’s a small nuisance

I just did mine and I was so worried for nothing, it was not bad at all. The prep wasn’t as bad as what I thought it would be and the procedure was nothing it was a good nap!!

My mom was diagnosed with colon cancer at 37, so I have to start having colonoscopies early. I just scheduled my first one and I’m so scared they’ll find something. 😫

How often should IBD patients get a colonoscopy. I was due for mine this year due to UC, but got cancelled after finishing my prep 🥹 I don’t want to do one this year now.
