@cbsnewstexas: Dallas Police want to convince the public that their fleet of more than 600 Flock cameras around the city are not randomly spying on you. In fact, they are allowing CBS News Texas an exclusive inside look at exactly how they have used the breakthrough, but controversial law-enforcement tool to solve crimes. #flock #flockcameras #Dallaspd #DFW #FlockcamerasDFW
flock is paying for positive news stories to be made about them

Flock is not a crime fighting tool. It’s a prosecution tool. They won’t stop crimes or prevent them. They will never be used to prove you innocent

Of course people want safety but no American should ever trade their precious gift of liberty for the false promise of safety.

Cops should be banned from using camera footage. Not just flock but CCTV, door bell cams, cellphone footage, etc. They need to solve crimes without resorting to video evidence.

This is all a bunch of hogwash from DPD. They do regular audits to check for something that ‘doesn’t look right’? 😂 If red light cameras aren’t allowed in TX, then why on earth are these cameras okay?

Yet their Homicide closure rate is the same as last year 79%.
The flock cameras are not solving or preventing murders.

Yes well until the legislators have put safe guards in place they don’t need to be used. No regulation on this technology is dangerous.
