@theinteriordesignshow: A £1 million Victorian house with a secret door, a garden spa and enough space to host 100 guests. We stepped inside this five-bedroom period home to see how its owners have transformed a historic property. Inside, there’s a social kitchen extension with a snug, a garden built for entertaining, a ground-floor guest suite, a heritage-inspired bathroom and a principal bedroom complete with a roll-top bath overlooking the garden. There’s even a hidden door leading to the walk-in wardrobe, plus a loft conversion that makes the most of every inch of space. Period details haven’t been overlooked either. Original sash windows have been restored, the chimney breast has been repointed, and one surviving Victorian sash window has been carefully retained. Could you see yourself living here?
