if they're IMPOSSIBLE to sanitise or repair and it goes to landfill if I leave it, if I take it home it's still going to landfill. otherwise it isn't impossible to repair.

let them turn in their tent at the end of the festival for the ability to register early next year. Let them arrive early if they prove they have a tent from a previous year (via a registered tag). This should make a huge dent

There should be tents erected by the festival which have numbers and you are assigned a numbers, if you leave it a mess or damage it youre charged and then the tents are santised and packed away for next year

boomtown has ecobond attached to your ticket. bring in two bags of rubbish and you get £20 back. this reduces waste left behind massively and should be the standard at festivals by now. especially given that cashless wristbands are in place
