My parents bought my brother a super cool bright yellow lifted Toyota truck. He was so excited till he realized he couldn’t go anywhere or do anything. Everyone knew that truck.

My mom was a reporter for the local paper growing up. My brother and I got away with nothing she knew everything before we could even spin it. First time i got pulled over she knew before the traffic stop was even over. 😂

When I was in high school I had a car. But moms rule was to school and back. I started picking up my best friend. My brother was in a grade lower than me. So I always had him in the car. He got mad at me and told on me. We were forced to ride the bus. Well, until my brother begged my mom for me to drive. He never ratted me out that

i had a party on the weekend of gr. 12 when my parents were gone and I got busted cuz there was like 20 cartons of orange juice in the recycle bag in the garage. 🤦

when I was a teenager we had a party at a friend's house while his mom was out of town. When she got back he (and we by extension) were immediately busted. we asked her how she knew. she told us no way the house was that clean unless we were up to something.

my husband drove a red lifted f150 in high school with very distinct bumper stickers and a flag headliner, he cut class one day and momma ended up behind him at a red light. She called him and asked where he was, he said school, she said I'm behind you, he said "I know I just had to give it a shot" 😂

My son and his friend drank most of a bottle of gin from the liquor cabinet. We don't drink gin and it had been in there for years. I asked why he wasn't even smart enough to fill the bottle back up with water. He isn't good at this either. 😂

In high school, I told my mom I was spending the night at my friends house, friend told her parents the same thing and we snuck out to a guys house. When we arrived the guys grandma said to me: Your mom wanted to know if you were having a good time?” My mom didn’t know where we were going, she didn’t know this guy, she didn’t know anything, and neither did the other parent!! PS. this was the early 90’s, no cell phones, no tracking. The only thing I can think of is someone saw me in the car when he picked me up…and even though I’m 49 she won’t tell me how she found out. 😂

I ditched school once in middle school. Walked to the Kmart. Hung out around town and walked back to school at the end of the day to hop on the bus. When I got home my parents already knew and asked how Kmart was 😅
