It all sounds good In theory, on a whiteboard, however, in my experience, this is not how real communication works. and I disagree with the entire premise of allowing destiny, to dictate how a person goes on and develops. I don't like communication styles, where the assumption is. You're bringing nothing into it and taking nothing away. I've found that if you want to be truly magnetic in a conversation, you should be changing. That person's life in some small way. And with a little luck, they're changing yours.

I’m with you on not diagnosing people and trying to find ulterior motivations in their behavior but decoding/reading people and learning to understand the signals being sent is an S tier skill to have and it’s changed my life as I’m sure it’s changed yours.

the label thing makes so much sense and is so common. I'm sure I do it in ways too, but I can feel when it happens to me in a social group and it sucks! makes me want to wipe the slate clean and start with a new group that hasn't put me in a box yet.
