I used to work as a sales girl in a boutique when I was a teenager. My boss always paid me on time, but there is this friend she had, who also had a young lady working for her. One day she and my boss were talking in the shop and I was there. This horrid woman opened her privileged mouth and said she's been owing her girl salary for months, and the money is now big. She said she hasn't paid the girl because she feels bad about removing such a chunk of money from her account. She said she had the money, but she didn't want to let go of it. Note that the kind of job this girl was doing for her was one that required walking under sun and rain to supply products and make purchase. This girl was very light skinned, and a model, so the harsh weather conditions were definitely affecting her. I couldn't believe my ears that day, and when the girl came to the boutique that evening, my boss and her friend had already left. I told her everything her boss said, and she started weeping, called her mom and said she'd quit the job.
