Dogs are SO resilient! When we were sobbing about my dog having to have his eye out the Vet was like “don’t event worry dogs don’t seem to notice or care at all they just don’t want to be in pain!”

My friend in Granbury, Texas rescues dogs that have been abused and abandoned. She has many dogs that are missing both front legs or back legs. Some are blind and deaf. She also has horses, cow sheep’s ducks with the same afflictions. They are very loved and well taken care of and to see them you would know how happy they are. Thank you for taking such care of honeycomb.

I loved the immediate after surgery perspective of your friend walking her down the sidewalk and she acted like she’d always been a tripod. It has to be so much relief for her from pain and being off balance from holding up that leg. ❤️

As a physical therapist that is amazing how well she is doing. I would say she has walked enough with that leg lifted that this was a walk in the park and freeing!
