for some people it could help writing fanfiction, because you have an already created world and characters. it help with writing dialog, descriptions or writing scenes like fightscene or love scenes without the need of creating these things yourself first. it still doesn't mean that fanfics are somehow less worth but it could be a good way to learn for some people

What about reading books? Especially when it comes to dialogue, or sentence structure. Just read other books. Its two birds with one stone, you can research your genre, and expose yourself to writing. There are also some great writing prompt books etc. We haven't had it for a long ass time, we can do this guys!

I use the AI that I like it's called Gemini and I don't use it to teach me how to write I just do that I don't know words just flow out of my mouth and it's just happens I use it to catch the random periods in the middle of a sentence because I use dictation so I have to help me with that problem and I also had to help me with understanding with some punctuation marks stuff and I haven't explained what a punctuation mark is if I don't know what it is most of them are glorified commas honestly would never have expected that also why is everyone hate M dashes those things are genuinely useful like I know a I get accused of using them a lot and what not so that just immediately brings people of thinking that but instead of using an ellipsis which apparently is if someone is trailing off in thoughts or gets cut off yeah from what I've been researching almost home and M dash is what you actually should use when someone takes a pause with what they're saying but then they continue talking I think
