Dude luck he didn't get shot dead. You comply with the police, safer for everyone. File a complaint, argue with a judge. Police officers have real guns and real bullets. If it looks like a deadly weapon, it is a deadly weapon, until examined closely. Police will find out, with, or without shooting you. Your choice.
