@cwtchesandchaos: 12 years today since I lost my mam. 💔 I woke up this morning with that familiar pit in my stomach and honestly just wanted to hide under the covers. Instead, I decided I was going to make her proud. ❤️ I put my trainers on and went for a run. It’s my first run since April. The last few months have been a lot. Stress, burnout, trying to give everything I have to work and my children… until eventually there wasn’t much left for me. I started eating and drinking my feelings. The weight crept on, my confidence disappeared, and the thought of getting back out there and running again became more and more daunting. But today, on a day when I could have easily stayed under the covers, I chose to show up. I chose to run for me. I chose to run for her. And I chose to take another step towards finding my sparkle again. ✨ Mam, I hope I’m making you proud. I’ll love you and miss you forever. ❤️ I started this account to hold myself accountable, to document the messy bits as well as the good days, and to hopefully find my way back to myself. So this is me… starting again. Not fitter. Not lighter. Not magically healed. Just showing up.
