Or it could just be that ppl change have families and different priorities too. I moved across the country for school and made friends but they aren’t my friends, just acquaintances or colleagues. The friends you have growing up in ur hometown, in my opinion, will always be ur friends. Life just changes and people grow and that’s ok too. I changed a lot, especially after the military but my true friends have never really abandoned me. We just have lives outside of friendships.

Exactly. Like no, I didn’t stop talking to her because I was jealous she was doing well. We stopped being friends because suddenly she had no interest in me or how I was doing, it was ALWAYS about her. I cannot stand egotistical people!!!

I wouldn't call it jealousy.. it happens we all change and it's ok not to stay friends forever.. I have very few friends almost none that share my values and goals but that's ok I wouldn't force someone to stay in touch with me

😩 One friend from our 25 yr old friend group has alienated herself from all of us. But blamed each of us as she cut us out of her life. It was a long time coming. I had tried to break up with her for years. When she went down the crunchy to maha wellness pipeline it took care of itself.
