@jamus9254: G2 are the penultimate team to qualify for the Super Bock Arena playoffs at BLAST Open Porto following a 2-1 win over Aurora. The Group A lower final was a rematch from the very first game of the event, when a Artem "r1nkle" Moroz-inspired G2 swept the series 2-0. This time, G2 found it much tougher. They only posted three T rounds on the opening Anubis to go up against the ropes, and found themselves on the brink of elimination on Inferno despite a 6-0 start, with Özgür "woxic" Eker's back-to-back quad-kills pushing the game in favor of Aurora. The game shifted back in G2's favor again after Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş failed to clear out Guy "NertZ" Iluz in Banana, who took his time and ended the round with an easy 3k spray down on XANTARES' teammates. Even a bizarre follow up, where NertZ died to a Glock, was not enough for Aurora to end the map and match as G2 clawed their way back into overtime and started to show their true form. Aurora clung on for a second set of overtime rounds, but momentum had shifted and the series headed to Mirage. On the decider, Aurora could only muster the first pistol round before G2 took over and never let go. Their spirits shattered already, Aurora failed to convert a 4v1 against r1nkle, and proceeded to lose another advantage in the following round to a flanking NertZ, which served as the final nails in the coffin, as G2 raced to a 13-1 victory. #cs #Blast #aurora #g2
