Listen, correct me if I’m wrong. People keep saying, “We need a general election.” But ask yourself: would another general election on its own really solve the problems we’re facing?
An election can change the government, but it doesn’t guarantee that anything will actually change.
What people need to do is come together peacefully and democratically. Someone needs to organise a date, a time and a place where ordinary people from across the country can stand together and make their voices heard.
And when I say stand together, I mean peacefully, legally and in huge numbers — no violence, no trouble and no criminal behaviour. Just people united behind a clear message and refusing to be ignored.
If people genuinely want change, then organise, demonstrate peacefully, contact MPs, use petitions and, when the election comes, use your vote.
That is how you put real democratic pressure on those in power.
