i dont think its inherently wrong to consume animals, its the circle of life, however i will get behind the vegetarians when it comes to HOW we get that meat and how the animals are treated before death.

I’m so tired of this. I struggle to intake certain nutrients and have other issues due to a chronic illness and i do NEED to eat meat. “Oh, b-b-but you can substitute—“ It doesn’t give the same amount, and I’d have to eat much more, and i already struggle with intake. Yall like to say meat-eaters are selfish then turn around and berate disabled people for needing to eat it. Tired of the ableism

I think much more people would be open to veganism if there wasnt so much an "all or nothing" mentality around it. there's often some bits of food some people aren't willing to give up/have it more dificult due to health issues.

I have a genuine question because I'm SO confused.. but why is eating animals morally wrong? Like if it's not supporting the meat industry or you're fully using every part of the animal. I've been so confused about this for so long and no one has been able to explain it to me.

if it was so wrong and unnatural to eat meat we simply wouldn’t eat meat as a species… we wouldn’t have the teeth, enzymes literally anything to digest meat but we do. it’s how we farm meat and treat livestock that’s the problem

yeah I know vegans are morally superior to me. I do try to cut down on meat and dairy. i only buy meat if it's about go to bad so it doesn't get wasted

I don’t think we should shame humans for eating meat. We too are animals and it’s natural. I think the problem just comes from the harsh way the meat is harvested.
