I'm a heavy set woman pregnant for the first time and I'm so terrified of this, I don't want my child to hate me for being heavy set by I do have medical conditions making it extremely hard, I understand it completely and we have the right to cherish our children.

It’s the fake concern that gets me where they act like they’re “just trying to be helpful.” Right..because someone who is overweight can’t see they have extra weight and need someone to point it out to them. It’s between them and their doctor.

They just looked genetically the same. There's so many things that influence weight, body shape distribution. The idea that people feel the need to shame anyone that's not pencil thin is ridiculous. People are so much more than the body they're in.

I'll never understand how people can go out of their way to be mean rather than nice. I helped an old lady with her groceries the other day and I was riding that high for two days. Meanwhile I forgot to tell an older man "thank you" for giving me his place in line and it haunts me months later! Being mean just cannot make these people feel better about anything, much less themselves. Being nice feels nice, and you are SO cool for trying to balance that silliness out. Seeing some kindness on my FYP again is so refreshing too!! 🖤 Off to comment!
