@nellandbando: I really need help getting Bando back. My abusive ex came to my house during an argument, screaming, throwing things around, and causing a huge scene. Bando was outside and got extremely worked up by everything happening. He was barking nonstop and trying to protect me, but he never attacked her. Afterward, she reported him and claimed that he tried to attack her. Bando is now being held by animal control/police while they investigate, and I’ve been told they’re treating him as a dangerous dog. They’ve even told me that if they decide he attacked her or consider him a serious threat, euthanasia could be on the table. I’m terrified. He has never been a dangerous dog. He reacted to someone coming into his home screaming and throwing things around, and now I could lose him because of one chaotic situation and someone else’s version of what happened. If anyone knows an attorney, animal rights organization, trainer, or anyone who has dealt with something like this before, please reach out. Even sharing this could help. im desperate. I just want Bando home before it’s too late.
