Napoleon Hill called it drifting: moving through life without a definite purpose, allowing circumstances and outside influences to determine your direction. To me, this is one of the places where the Left Hand Path becomes intensely practical. It asks you to examine everything you have been handed and decide what remains. Your beliefs. Your morality. Your ambitions. Your identity. Your gods. Your purpose. Not rebellion for rebellion’s sake. Self-determination. Eventually you have to ask: How much of the person I am was actually chosen by me?
