@justbefranklin: You can make your brain hold onto what you learn like glue, with one small change to how you take notes. It's called the Cornell method, and it's been around for years because it flat out works. Here's the setup. You split your note into three parts. A big column on the right, a skinny column on the left, and a summary at the bottom. While you're in class or reading, you only write on the right side. Keep it short and in your own words. Later, you go back and fill in the left column with questions about your notes. Then you cover the right side, look at just your questions, and try to answer them from memory. That's the whole trick. You're quizzing yourself, and that's why it actually sticks. At the bottom, you write a quick summary like you're explaining it to a friend. And here's where it gets good. Every note you take this way can drop right into a second brain, so it's not just sitting there, it's organized and ready when you need it. Not another app to keep up with like Notion or Obsidian.
