As much as I agree with this, I want to eliminate this when I hold power in my work place, for me performance should determine the progress of workers and not sycophancy. I hate doing eye service but I do understand I have no choice at the moment when others are playing that game. You can't play fair in an unfair game

I couldn’t agree more because I witnessed this firsthand 😂😂. I was never the type to do eye service—I was simply myself and always gave my best at work, whether the boss was watching or not. Yet, despite being good at what I did and putting in the work, my efforts weren’t always appreciated, while I watched people who barely gave the job their all get favoured and even loved 😂😂😂. Workplace politics is real! But I never wanted to change who I was or compromise my values just to be seen and rewarded by man. I just kept doing my part, and honestly, God showed up for me in His own way. 🙏🏽❤️
