whilst I agree. these are all things that parents/guardians are supposed to do. Unfortunately I think our parents generations decided not to bother. my kids are 8 and 5 and they can cook a meal from scratch because once a week for a year now they pick they're meal, tell me what ingredients they think they need and then cook it, of course i have to help them alittle but they mostly do it themselves. I'll be damned if my children will become adults and not be able to crack an egg or chop an onion 😂 they're also both trained to put they're clothes next to the washer, my sons wife will not be picking up his dirty socks or pants from around the house 😂

I did Home Ec in school which is laughed at but honestly teaches you a lot of this stuff! Including taxes, getting stains out of clothes, making a will etc

They don’t teach us anything useful in school other than English. The rest is just to teach people to assimilate, we don’t get taught how to drive or hang a radiator or not get into debt. They just want us to conform.

im an accountant and legit basic maths is all you need. algebra, fraction, ect is so irrelevant I just cnt cope. my job it literally numbers and calculations all day and not once needed pi theory nor algebra 😂

Hi, dad here, I teach my children (both girls) all sorts of stuff they don't get taught in school. By the way I'm 100% with you, the education system needs a serious revamp to teach children things they need to know not flippin algebra and other 💩
