@kb_dean: A lot of dog training is being able to recognize, build, and develop patterns. And sometimes, you have to creatively think about how to recreate a situation so your dog can learn the pattern you’re looking for. I’ve noticed it’s actually pretty hard to find flushing training at this level. There are SO many retrieving drills and examples out there, but very few have caught my eye when it comes to mechanically developing a pattern for steady at shot. So, this is my version of it. I’m just an amateur trying to learn how to work with my spaniels and sometimes that means taking the end goal, breaking it down and figuring out how to recreate the pieces at home. This is one way I’m working on steady at shot with Timber. I hope you find it helpful! #spaniels #birddog #DogTraining #upland #hunting
