I feel like what the people complaining about the Lanterns costume are missing is that if they put Kyle Chandler in a skin-tight costume without the shoulder pads and so on, he would look fucking ridiculous because he doesn't have the physique for it. And that's fine, especially because he's supposed to be an old man. I'd rather have Kyle Chandler in a padded leather costume giving the incredible performance he's been giving over some shredded guy who wouldn't embody this take on the character as well as he does just to get a "more accurate" costume.

Darwyn Cooke art is so beautiful, honestly LOVE his views on comic suits and design. It definitely reminds me of Legends Of The Superheroes (1979) costumes, which is outdated but the suits were really nice and fit - even for a short that people are barely aware of!!! but yes I SO agree, I love the Star Trek take onto Green Lantern and it's such a shame there isn't more thought to the many different designs of lanterns. The new suit from Lanterns is definitely bland based off of colouring and materials

I honestly think the reason for the Jordan suit is one, to possibly mimic a more of a flight suit look because he’s a pilot, and two, to create a stark contrast with Stewart’s suit when he dawns it. Hal’s is like him, old, physical, and beat up.

Genuinely, my favorite Superman suit is Tyler Hoechlin’s suit in the pilot episode of Superman and Lois. But that makes sense since the Fleischer suit is my favorite.

I agree that we should see more classically textured design for the lanterns but I really like Hals and Guys Suits, cause I think it fits their styles a lot and personality a lot, I think when John gets his suit, hopefully, It might look a lot more original as I think that it'd fit his overall personality and style

I really hope that John ends up with a costume like he got on his 5th birthday. I'm loving the dcu so far, but so far the costumes have been a role of the dice. Thats an aspect that they could definitely improve on

My mutual @Green Lantern 🍉 has an amazing costume that follows a similar design! Their work is amazing and I’ve had the chance to do some really fun community service with them. I’d recommend following them!
