I’ve seen people be automatically signed up for shop even without applying also. They might not even know that it’s a refundable sample or what that means when they purchase something.

I 100% agree that the refundable sample thing affects everybody. Plain devils advocate I will say this seems to be the one issue and only issue. I’ve really seen larger creators come out about because it does affect them. But all the other things that have started to add up with us making less and getting less views and things going on weird a lot of the larger creators aren’t coming out because that doesn’t affect them. I wish there was support about all these changes and that we could all come together and do something about all of it.

It’s crazy that you cut the stitch right before I explained it doesn’t affect everyone EQUALLY! Meaning it affects coaches more than small creators because they sell more to other AFFILIATES (who have the refundable sample option) not regular buyers! Also, didn’t they just find another way to solve the problem? You guys didn’t have to hurt us to get what you wanted! Every single coach who asked brands to turn off refundable samples should make a new video asking them to turn them back on now! That the least you guys could do!

Small and large creators are absolutely affected. They should turn it off and hopefully TikTok will put it back to where you click the refundable option if you want to use it

I showed a refundable sample today which makes no sense because I got it straight from the store .. so now it’s pushing me to repost I feel it will cause an issue with score if I don’t

One of the things that just occurred to me and I commented on her video is that if you are able to sell enough of a product to get your refund, you obviously have a winning angle and should make more videos on those products. We get so caught up in wanting to grab the next viral thing and try it that we spread ourselves out too thin and don’t spend enough time on the items that are already making us money. (And I’m preaching to myself here too, because I’m GUILTY!😂)

This is exactly what I was trying to share too. Until TT listens this is the only option. Brands have pull TT unlike us affiliates. If they care about their relationships with affiliates they need to advocate for us. Or they will end up with a few affiliates and on AI to promote their productsz. They need us and we need them. So we have to work together or Shop as we know it will crumble.
