Magnetic ballast are phased out in CA and not worth replacing it with an electronic ballast. You are better off bypassing ballast, rewire tombstones/sockets, neutral on one side and hot on the other. Install Type B Led lamps. Plug and play fixture now. Next time lamp goes out just replace lamp no ballast to worry about..

Just a question no hate. Why wouldn’t you just eliminate the ballast and go direct wire LED?means you had to pull the ballast anyways.
