✦📱Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide vs. Z Fold7 💜🤍 3 days with the Z Fold8 and I can already tell that the form factor is the biggest difference I notice coming from the Fold7! The Fold8 feels more like a passport-size phone 📖 wider, shorter, and much more comfortable for me to grip when folded. The 7.6
✦📱Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide vs. Z Fold7 💜🤍 3 days with the Z Fold8 and I can already tell that the form factor is the biggest difference I notice coming from the Fold7! The Fold8 feels more like a passport-size phone 📖 wider, shorter, and much more comfortable for me to grip when folded. The 7.6" 4:3 inner display also feels noticeably wider, which I really enjoy for movies, manga/comics, gaming, and multitasking. And I didn't expect this, but the wider shape gives me BlackBerry 8520 vibes whenever I'm texting or typing with the keyboard popped up 😆 I find it nostalgic! the Fold7, on the other hand, feels more like a chocolate-bar phone 🍫 ~taller, slimmer, and narrower in the hand. I actually liked that form factor too, but after switching to the Fold8, I'm starting to prefer the wiiiiider grip. 📸 Camera setup: Fold8: 50MP Wide + 50MP Ultra Wide + 10MP Telephoto Fold7: 200MP Wide + 12MP Ultra Wide + 10MP Telephoto with 3x optical zoom so the Fold7 still has the advantage if you care more about high-resolution main photos and zoom, while the Fold8 gives you a 50MP Ultra Wide alongside its 50MP main camera. ⚡for performance, the Fold8 comes with the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, while the Fold7 has the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. Both are insanely fast, but the Fold8 gets the newer-generation chip. one thing I definitely miss from my Fold7 is Flex Mode 🥲 the Fold8 doesn't have it, while the Fold7 and Fold8 Ultra do. I used it pretty often, so that's one feature I noticed missing right away. after only 3 days, I'm already leaning toward the Fold8's wider design.
