I work at Publix and trust me when i say this, the meat on sale could be way more veritile than you think. Eye round is one of the cheapest cuts of beef, sucks as steaks, but do pass very well as processed as cubed steaks, and it does decent throwing in a ramen as shaved or thinly sliced and mrinated. Just ask the meat cutters to process an eye round or reallt any kind of meat on sale when you buy the whole thing.
