I wasn’t expecting thing to go boom like this but LOL i LOVE my dentist , i just came to rant because IM POOR , i believe it was 2 teeth they filled and the cost of it just kicked me for 6 at how pricey things are ….. this is no shade towards my dentist 😭

health care in this Barbados is expensive as hell that's y is best to have health insurance but I do understand u under minimum wage pay is insane then to deal with health care with out insurance is painful/depressing

I had a root canal. Spent WELL over $1500 already on that one tooth for my dentist to look me in my face and tell me she can't fit a crown, I'll have to get it pulled. I cried the entire 1.5 hour appointment.

At least you were able to save the tooth, maybe the cavity was extremely deep and the filling was done on different surfaces of the tooth. Hugss🫂

I don’t understand how I could go for a cleaning and charged x amount, they see a cavity and then say I need an “exam” I have to pay for again, before I fill the cavity that’s another set of money too. 😭 Wym exam?! You just looked all in my mouth cleaning, you know I have the damn cavity. 😭
