you should find out why you are losing your iron. being low because of poor absorption is one thing but if you get an infusion and then you still lose it, you could have cancer or bleeding going on somewhere.

Mine is fucking 6 and they will NOT give me an infusion. The oral iron absolutely ruins my gut and I must not be absorbing any of it anyway because it hasn’t really helped .

what's the most upsetting thing is that men have different ferritin ranges. apparently lab ranges are just based off of averages. So because women are MORE likely to be anemic they are LESS likely to be treated for it
