My dad told me that when I was in my early twenties that your choice of friends is a reflection of you. Now I’m in my fifties (the same age he was when he said this to me). I have four friends. Two are my children. One is my brother. I’m not related to the other guy but in my eyes he is my brother. It’s all about quality not quantity 💚

So true - school I was that idiot - somehow got into a tech college and hung around with cleverest guy (never less than 90% / A grades type ) set my challenge to be like him and I did much better than I would have done as a result. Took this into the work place

Yeah. I never had any friends at school because my autism alienated me from other kids but it might have been for the best because I never got peer pressured into doing bad stuff like most teens. Now Im 16 I feel that Im mature enough to choose friends wisely, so even if someone wants to be friends with me I wouldnt if they were a bad influence despite how tempting it is to have friends
