@summerrellie: First off, this is not at all a sympathy post. I’m grateful I have the chance for recovery, and I know there’s other people in much worse places than I am. I’ve had several messages and comments saying how positive I am, and that they feel they’re not doing so well with their recovery compared to the videos they see of me on socials. But the truth is, social media is a highlight reel. We don’t see the full picture, and I want to be transparent with everything I ever post. I promise my life isn’t all rainbows and sunshine, this is injury has really changed my life and likely will effect me forever.
