Hi, Hasan Piker is in the media cycle because a large portion of influencer on the left, including himself, are calling him a kingmaker. Simultaneously, he's been campaigning with politicians. This is a big deal because this "kingmaker" has made antisemitic, anti-black, anti-american statements many times throughout his career. Beyond this, he's a self avowed Marxist-Leninist communist, a self avowed propagandist, a dog abuser, and a lying hypocrite. So, this is why we always worry about who we allow to campaign with the politicians we like, because it can lead to serious blowback like this. If Hasan really wanted to help, he could canvas without explicitly using his own brand and identity to campaign alongside a politician.
