I can’t believe they really let them go. For sure guaranteed hall of famers, a giant asset as ambassadors, a huge benefit as mentors to younger talent, and they just unceremoniously let them go.

To be fair, Big E said he wanted to remain retired, even if he becomes "medically cleared" to wrestle again, because he doesn't want to risk it all over again. By the way, if Big E DID return with Kofi and Austin Creed/Xavier Woods, what do you think his stage name would've been? (He probably wouldn't be able to keep his old stage name because of copyright/trademark reasons.)
