i just use ambient temperature water, regular nail polish like essie, and its better when they are “new”, if its too cold it wont spread

Wasn’t mean, but I think on your second attempt you were close. From watching other videos, you needed to add more drops. Stoping at only four layers was hindering you. But yeah, I wouldn’t do that on camera again. Yeesh! Sorry girl! 😢

From the videos I’m seeing you’re supposed to touch the brush into the top of the water! First coat should spread around the whole water and then as you do the layers you continue to touch each brush color into the top of the water. It should get tacky as you do the layers then you dip the nail when you’re done! Wanted to post this on here incase you’ll see it better! Even if you don’t post your attempt!!! I hope you succeed and learn for yourself! You’re trying and that’s all that matters! I hope you succeed even if it’s on your own time! ✨🦋
