Thinking about a different person or scenario during sex does not automatically mean you’re dissatisfied, unfaithful, or secretly planning to cheat.  Thoughts aren’t actions, and fantasy can help keep desire alive when long-term sex has become familiar and predictable. Trying to police every sexual thought may create shame, anxiety, and even less desire. You don’t have to disclose every fantasy, either.
